These tablets dissolve through erosion, and while they do not effervesce when placed in the spa filter compartment with jets operating, they will dissolve within a few minutes.

As the average pH of a spa tends to rise daily, a pH-decreasing product is essential. Applying the tablets directly to the footwell promotes a slower dissolution experience, which is not recommended. It is crucial to avoid leaving any undissolved material in the footwells or surfaces of the spa. If applying the tablets directly to the water, any undissolved material should be brushed away.
